My biggest performance to date! Our performance at the Eiffel Tower on Bastille Day - July 14th (the French equivalent to the fourth of July) was aired on live television on M6. Some people digitized it and posted it on Youtube, so here it is for you to see.
Since Monsieur Polnareff is unknown here in the States, it's been hard to communicate just how popular he is in France until now. Nelly Furtado was our opening act. I am super thrilled to finally be able to show you the scale of how massive this tour is. 600,000 people in the audience, covering a quarter mile from the Champ De Mars stage all the way back to the Eiffel Tour - this is Woodstock big - actually larger. The new french president, Sarkozy, in the audience to the right in the red carpet VIP section. And when the fireworks went off at the end of the night, it was the culmination of the whole experience. This is why I am here in France. I am here actualizing the dream of a child. So, in case I ever forget, now I have video to remember what this meant to me when it happened. So despite all the hardships and missing my family and friends, I've actually done something that I don't think I'll ever forget or regret. I hope you enjoy.
